Soft Run Ideal For Lively Filly At Caulfield On Saturday: Price/Kent

It’s a quieter weekend of racing for the Price/Kent stable but a lively 2YO filly is certain to make some noise at Caulfield on Saturday.

For their best bet on Thursday, the price will be right at Sale.

Outback Miss ($2.90, $1.45)

A query I have on her is drawing barrier 11 but how Blake Shinn’s going to ride her if she had to draw on the gate and gets a soft first half, I reckon she’ll be hard to beat.

There’s three or four chances in that race.

Look, she’s trained on, it was a very nice win at Bendigo and apparently they went there fancying the second horse, Nadal.

So, look, it definitely puts her in the race, she’s definitely a chance.

I’m just hoping she can bounce him clear a few runners and have a nice run in the race.

If he’s indecisive on her, that’s not going to be any good.

I’ll be there and we’ll have a chat with Young Blake and she’s a nice chance.

Our two-year-old is our best chance in a quiet day.

Deepstrike ($4.60, $1.85), Fifth Position ($15.00, $4.20)

Fifth Position ($15.00, $4.20) is too hard to catch for anyone betting, I’m not saying he couldn’t win but he’s going to be horse that puts everyone out of the quaddie, I suppose.

Deepstrike ($4.60, $1.85), look he can win but he’s drawn inside and it’s going to have to be a miracle job for him.

I know his form is good, I’m not overly confident the way the race will be run and where he’ll end up, he may end down the back that horse.
