The Busuttin & Young stable saddle-up some top runners at Flemington on Saturday but the stable is galloping north of the border into the harbour city for their best bet at Rosehill.
Down at Flemington, the stable have a good thing at each-way value over 2500m.
Best Bet
Rosehill (Saturday)
Race 9, 1800m
Brayden Star ($3.90, $1.70)
Very much looking forward to seeing him step up in trip, he’s had an excellent preparation.
Loomed to win at a mile last start but was found one better on the day which was hard to make up ground from anything worse than midfield.
He’s drawn sticky, Dylan Gibbons to take the ride, takes a 1.5kgs off, brings him down to 60.5kgs.
He’s a great bet, we have a good opinion of him and he’s clearly the stable mail best of the weekend.
Tip: Win
"Brayden Star is flying home, it's coming home like a train on the outside."

Next Best
Flemington
Race 6, 2500m
Whakamana ($5.00, $2.00)
She was good last start at Sandown, Billy Egan retains the ride and although drawn wide, she can loom into things and build into it from the half mile and will be hard to hold out.
At $5.00 she’s a good bet, each-way punters.
Even money for your top 3 finish, I don’t think she misses a drum.
Tip: Win
2️⃣ wins from the first 2️⃣ races for @TheBeeegan as he steers Whakamana to victory over 2400m 👏@busuttin pic.twitter.com/yHIVqlPVGY

Top Tip
Race 3, 1600m
Sunsource ($8.50, $2.05), Acierto ($8.00, $1.95)
Both nice horses that will appreciate the mile but suspect we could be playing for second.
But if anything, could bring the favourite undone, then they’ll both run very well.
