Feature racing in Melbourne on Saturday is at Flemington and the Busuttin & Young stable saddle-up a strong contingent of runners at HQ.
Their best comes early on the card where golden girl Jamie Kah jumps in the saddle to weave her magic.

Best Bet – Flemington (Saturday)
SHAIYHAR ($2.35, $1.22), Race 2, 2500m.
He is going great guns this horse, he’s obviously going into Saturday five weeks between runs since winning the Bm78 last start with really good conviction.
He won his last Jump Out pretty good on Monday and it just really tightened him up nicely.
We’ve got Jamie Kah on board, great to have Jamie back, he’s just drawn a little sticky, I’m sure she’ll work her magic and put him in a great spot if he does jump and ride for a bit of luck.
He’s a big, striding horse, he can’t really sit and sprint, he’s got to wind-up for momentum and he really just lengthens the stride, so really that’s his best asset.
2500m I have no doubt, he’s won further than that in Europe, I think he’s favourite and warrants it.
He’s had a great prep so far, so let’s hope he can be the odds-on favourite and get the money for you.
Tip: Win
What. A. Run.

Next Best
MOSTLY CLOUDY ($10.00, $2.50), Race 2, 2500m.
He’s coming back from a little bit of a disappointing run at Randwick over 2400m.
I think he’s a horse that had great form over the ditch, just hasn’t quite found it here.
He’s run good races, been consistent, I think we need to ride him a little bit colder and he can’t get to the front too soon.
He’s really got to wait until he balances up at the top of the straight and then really let him go and then I think he’ll really letdown.
So giving him that little bit of a freshen up from Sydney, Tuesday’s work was one of the best gallops I’ve seen him do, so hopefully he’s got all the stars aligned, he’s drawn nice and he’s really a nice place chance.

SUIZURO ($19.00, $4.80), Race 10, 1700m.
Second-up, stepping up to 1700m, obviously it’s a little bit hard for these horses that run in Australian derbies as a 3YO and he’s stepping up to that open grade.
I think he just lacked a little bit of fitness first-up at Caulfield the other day, he’s really come on and he’s tucked up nicely, he’s drawn 1 and he loves to sort of jump and get out there and lead.
He did put three together as a 3YO and then went up to the Derby just really unlucky, just jumped out slow, but I thought he went huge.
I think he’s conditioned nicely for that second-up, I think he can just get his own rhythm and get to the front and left alone, I think he’s really good value each-way there.
