Might And Power champion Alligator Blood could be saying ‘see you later, Alligator’ to the rest of the field in the Cox Plate later this month.
The flying 7YO bay is on the second line of betting at $6.00 with Unibet to capture the Moonee Valley feature and buoyant trainer Gai Waterhouse said her charge is out for blood in the Group 1 2040m race.
“The incomparable Alligator Blood does us proud once again. Bring on the Cox Plate,” Waterhouse tweeted after his dominant win at Caulfield.

The Gator’s resounding win sealed a 7th Group 1 win and a 15th win in 33 starts for the popular but controversial galloper.
Waterhouse said she was blown away by his Might And Power triumph.
“He just did it so easily, he’s joyous, and the horse in the front just made that little bit more of a tempo and Alligator just said ‘see you later Alligator’,” the Sydney trainer told Channel 7.
“He’s tough he’s an elite racehorse, we’re very privileged to see a horse like him.”
"...Alligator just said 'See you later, Alligator'."
