Crowing Glory For A Royal Prince On The Gold Coast On Saturday: Toby Edmonds

On another busy weekend of racing across Queensland and NSW, the Toby Edmonds stable is backing a prince to claim his crown on the Gold Coast on Saturday.

The stable also saddles up runners at Eagle Farm on Saturday and Coffs Harbour on Friday where the stable has a strong chance at a juicy $16 quote.

Clover’s Prince (BT)

Clover’s Prince is in two races on the Gold Coast.

Keep an eye out for which race we run him in but he’ll be competitive in either one.

More than likely, he’ll run in the 1000m race in Race 1. Noel Callow to ride, barrier 5.

Good run at Rockhampton when he resumed up there, he’s come home, freshened up nicely, can run well.

He’ll be in the finish, he’ll either win or he will run a place.

Bochkareva (BT)

10 of 10 naturally which might not be too bad in that race.

She’s pretty quick, blinkers on, I’d suggest she can run good as well.

From that barrier, a place chance.

Eagle Farm (Saturday)

Race 5, 1200m

Boho Beauty ($13.00, $4.00)

She’s come back from Rockhampton as well where she won 2 starts ago.

She’ll bang up on the speed, more than likely lead this, she’ll look the winner for a long way but she’s got to come back to Saturday grade, Brisbane Metropolitan form, so it’s a little difficult to know how she fits in.

Each-way for mine there.

Tip: Each-Way

Coffs Harbour (Friday)

Coffs Harbour Cup

Race 7, 1600m

Indian Dreamer ($16.00, $4.60)

Won at Rockhampton a couple of times ago and I tipped him in the Rockhampton Cup which he ran 3rd in but still ran well.

He’s had a little bit of a freshen up, I think he’s done particularly well and his work has been good.

He’s in at lightweight 54kg again, Grant Buckley to ride, he’ll suit this horse down to the ground and he’s quite strong which is what this horse needs, a good strong rider.

From the barrier, he will posse up, just forward of midfield.

As long as he gets clear ground down the straight, he’ll run really well.

Tip: Win
