Sandown (Sunday)

Race 7, 1600m

Daiquiri (BT)

He won first-up here at Ballarat, won very impressive had a really great good turn of foot.

Stepping up to a BM78, up a class a touch, out from 2100m to the mile.

I think he’s going to be very well suited at Sandown.

I think he’ll be hitting the line again well but he’ll probably can be a little bit more forward in the running.

So he’s probably our best for the weekend.

Race 4, 2000m

Smullen ($26.00, $7.00)

We’ve got a 3YO Smullen ($26.00, $7.00), that was second last start and won at start 4.

Well over the odds, he’s a really good each-way chance.

I think he’s going to love that track, against his own age and he’s drawn nicely in barrier with Beau.

He’s a nice up and coming 3YO that really needs to get out to that trip, so I think he’s really good odds each way.

Tip: Each-Way

Rosehill

Race 5, 2000m

Starianne ($4.60, $1.90)

She’s drawn nicely in barrier 3, Jay Ford on.

It’s a nice race for her, a nice each-way chance.

If she does go well, we can sort of carry on and get her up to Brisbane for the Queensland Oaks.

Tip: Each-Way

Morphettville

Race 4, 2500m

Whakamana ($6.50, $2.25)

We’ve stepped her up to the 2500m and again trying to get a bit of black type.

She will definitely see out the trip, a really good place chance.
