Midweek racing in Victoria is at Warrnambool and racing expert Adam Curkpatrick is backing a flying 4YO mare from the Tom Dabernig stable to keep her unbeaten first-up record intact.

Best Bet
Race 7, 1000m
Miss Balvenie ($3.30, $1.45)
Miss Balvenie has jumped out sharly on two occasions leading in, running a good time in the latest of those, having everything shrugged up to chase.
She is two from two first-up, with her last first-up figure at Sandown well and truly enough for this,
She is clearly the horse they all have to beat, with the Maher Eustace pair the two dangers.
Most wary of Senegalia ($4.60), however she’ll want it on the better side of the a soft6 to be at her best.

Value Bet
Race 8, 1000m
First Accused ($18.00, $5.00)
First Accused is first-up off a let-up and has jumped out sharply enough to think he’ll be in this a long way.
He does have the speed enough to cross and whilst he’ll peak at 1400m, I believe that strength will hold him in good stead late in the piece here.
It is a wide open race with It’sourtime ($7.50) resuming well and scary late.
Outlaws Revenge ($6.00) and Bill The Boxer ($7.50) two other key hopes through the Gold Sprint.
First Accused ($18.00) a big price and happy to make him the value play of the day.Â
