FREE HORSE RACING TIPS & SANDOWN SUNDAY OCTOBER 1 BEST BETS

A frenetic weekend of racing awaits the Price/Kent stable with runners at Moonee Valley and Benalla on Friday, Mornington on Saturday and Sandown on Sunday.

But Mick Price’s best bet, apart from Collingwood to win by 17 points at the ‘G’ on Saturday, is an extreme threat at Sandown on Sunday where golden girl Jamie Kah jumps in the saddle.

Best Bet – Sandown (Sunday)

EXTREME THREAT ($5.50, $1.90) (Race 4, 1400m.

She’s a good filly, she won well first-up.

Hopefully, if she hasn’t got that second-up edge off her which I can never tell second-up.

We’ve tried to keep her fresh, haven’t overdone her.

If she runs up her best, Extreme Threat will be the best bet of the weekend.

Tip: Win

Next Best – Benalla (Friday)

FIVE RINGS ($2.90), Race 5, 2100m

Bit unlucky last start.

Will roll forward, Beau Mertens on, will be hard to beat.

Tip: Win

Mornington (Saturday)

MISS GALORE ($3.40, $1.50), Race 8, 1200m

Good pace on from barrier 5 with W Pinn, claiming 2, that will be Kiwi rides Kiwi.

Miss Galore and Extreme Threat will be our best two of the weekend.

Tip: Win

Sandown (Sunday)

GOLDEN PATH ($5.00, $1.38), Race 6, 1500m

Golden Path is a pretty good horse, this is a small field, this Antino race but I think he’s going well.

He’s a nice horse, no surprise to see him win, albeit small field I reckon they will spread.

He’s a free-flowing horse which needs to get a bit of room around him, 1300m is too short, this race is ideal.

Fitness, distance, he’s just got to get a free-flowing run.

Do not underestimate him, he’s a nice horse, he can win this race.

HEDGED ($2.90, $1.32), Race 2, 1000m

Four weeks inbetween runs, I think he’s better at 1100m, 1200m but I’ve got to get him back going because he’s had a bit of time between runs.

Tip: Win

Top Tip – Moonee Valley (Friday)

KING OF FIGHTERS ($4.60, $1.60), Race 5, 1600m

Look, he’ll run pretty well, it’s all his first prep.

Tip: Win
