Along with 4YO Hawaii Five Oh, Waterhouse now has two runners and two shots at collecting racing’s richest prize.
Waterhouse said Hawaii Five Oh’s preparation for the race has been seamless.
“I think we have a fabulous chance,’’ Waterhouse told Ch.7.
“Hawaii Five Oh is a lightly-raced horse, he’s come right at the right time. He’s big.”
The 4YO heads into the race off the back of an impressive last start where he ran second to Everest frontrunner Think About It in the Group 2 Premiere Stakes at Randwick.
