Another high-profile galloper has withdrawn from The Everest with the Annabel Neasham-trained Sunshine In Paris forced out of the 1200m sprint through injury.
Neasham informed Racing NSW Stewards the 4YO mare sustained a minor injury to its near foreleg which was confirmed in a vet’s exam.

The Queensland-based trainer added the injury will not only force the mare out of The Everest, she will also be spelled for the duration of the spring and won’t compete in any other races.
It’s a major blow for the Neasham stable with Sunshine In Paris formerly one of the top fancies with Unibet at $11.00.
With defending champion Giga Kick also ruled out through injury, the Peter Moody and Katherine Coleman-trained I Wish I Win ($4.20) is now the new race favourite.
Sunshine In Paris bolted home in an impressive time in the Group 2 Sheraco Stakes at Rosehill earlier this month.
