The Mick Price and Michael Kent Jr stable saddle-up some strong runners at Flemington and Geelong this weekend but their best bet is at HQ on Saturday where an impressive long-striding 3YO is on a path to strike gold.
Best Bet
Flemington (Saturday)
Race 9, 1600m
Golden Path ($3.50, $1.60)
He was good first-up, good second-up, he had every chance second-up when Patty Payne’s horse beat him.
He goes to Flemington on the big track, can run very well, I’m not sure where he’ll end up in the running.
He’s a horse which will finish off with a big, long stride, so he’s our best chance of the weekend.
Tip: Win
"If you're on the fave, line up for the winnings because he's home."

Top Tips
Geelong (Friday)
Race 1, 1347m
Queen Beira ($5.50, $2.10),
She will go good, she’s an each-way chance.
Tip: Each-Way
Race 5, 1147m
Lispector ($4.40, $1.85),
Ben Melham to ride, will take a nice forward position.
No surprises to see him win.
