Best Bet

Caulfield (Saturday)

Race 4, 2000m

Chandon Burj ($9.00, $2.90)

She’s stepping up to 2000m for just the first time this campaign which she’s been crying out for and she has been, her runs have been better than they appear on paper.

She’s run 4th in her last couple of runs at Moonee Valley on unsuitable tracks when things haven’t gone her way.

She’ll be up on speed from the middle gate over 2000m, Oli on board, she’ll be hopefully controlling the tempo or suiting up outside the leader.

She’ll get a big kick and she’s a great winning chance.

Morphettville (Saturday)

Race 6, 1600m

He’s Our Bonneval ($2.60, $1.22)

Over in Adelaide, again will go out short in the market.

He doesn’t know how to find the line, he’s going to be short.

He doesn’t win out of turn, he’s always runs in the money but his wins a few and far between.

Tip: Win

Randwick (Saturday)

Race 5, 2400m

Mostly Cloudy ($5.50, $1.95)

Genuine each-way chance up in Sydney over 2400m.

He’s got a wide gate to contend with but he’s very consistent and deserves his winning chance and it would be nice to see him salute.

Tip: Win
