Outside of Caufield, the Price/Kent stable saddle-up a healthy contingent of runners at Sale on Friday and Pakenham and Werribee on Sunday.
Michael Kent Jr runs through the ones to follow in his stable mail best bets.
Best Bet
Sale (Friday)
Race 2, 1100m
Altruist ($15.00, $3.90)
Blinkers go on, down in grade, up in trip, drawn wide but has improved.
He’d be a nice each-way bet.
Tip: Each-Way
Race 3, 1100m
Graysong ($2.40, $1.30)
Had good form last time in town, has improved from a spell, has trialled up nicely, Ben Melham on.
I think he’s going really well, he’ll win.
Tip: Win
Next Best
Pakenham Synthetic (Sunday)
Race 3, 2200m
Noyers (BT)
I think Noyers should be winning, up in trip, found a winnable race onto the poly track which he loves and he’s training up well.
Tip: Win
Werribee (Sunday)
Race 3, 1633m
Sierra De Gredos (BT)
If Sierra De Gredos gets a run at Werribee, he’s a second emergency, hopefully he gets a start.
But if he does, he should be hard to beat, looks a winnable race for him.
He won a jump out here last week by a big margin, blinkers go on first time.
I think third-up at the mile should suit him.
