Moonee Valley (Friday)

Race 4, 2040m

Golden Crusader ($2.90, $1.40)

If this girl Celene the machine gets it right, I think the horse will run super.

He’s a hard horse to catch. He’sone of those European horses that have taken a little bit of time to just slot it.

Be we think we have got him going really well. He’ll balance up with the leaders.

Hopefully Jordan Childs will lead and we get the run of the race.

Either or we don’t mind.

So, look, I think he’s a chance to run in the first three.

A case of you, beautiful, good tempered even import.

I think there’s good speed in this race.

There’ll be good speed will be midfield or rear thereof.

I’d be surprised if he won.

But I wouldn’t be surprised to see him closing in late, so it’s a long time since he raced.

So he will be closing in late, so I think for trifectas and everything else, he’s probably a better bet.

Flemington (Saturday)

Race 2, 1200m

Poppin’ Champagne ($15.00, $4.20)

I’m hoping she runs a place in a group race and then she can go out.

Beautiful filly for the Thousand Guineas next season.

Sunlight Classic

Race 6, 1100m

Kaygeebee ($31.00, $7.50), What You Need ($2.50, $1.32)

Well though, I don’t know what Jason Warren is doing with his filly yet but Kaygeebee was probably only going to run second to What You Need and What You Need is going super, so we think he’s really smart, he’s the best horse in the race and I think he can win What You Need.

Australian Cup

Race 7, 2000m

Hezashocka ($20.00, $5.50)

Well I hope he doesn’t get a shocker, I hope he gets a good ride, we need to dig him out of the gates.

It’s very difficult to be confident with him because it’s not a bad Australian Cup, it’s an even Australian Cup but look, if he can run a place, we’ll be all be happy with that.
