Stable’s Next Stud Colt To Emerge At Flemington On Saturday: Price/Kent

A smart colt will be flying at Flemington on Saturday and top trainer Michael Kent Jr from Price/Kent Racing is tipping it to become the stable’s next stud colt.

In a busy weekend of racing, the stable also saddles-up runners at Bendigo on Thursday, Geelong on Friday and Morphettville on Saturday.

Best Bet – Flemington (Saturday)

PIVOT CITY ($8.50, $2.60), Race 4, 1100m.

There’s a famous saying that goes there’s something about the outside of the horse that’s good for the inside of the man and that is good for me.

He looks amazing this horse, he has really thrived in the stable, he’ll have to.

This race was won by Giga Kick, it’s a good horse’s race.

Up against King’s Gambit ($3.30, $1.50) etc, this is a smart horse, he lacks a bit of seasoning because he missed a large chunk of his 2YO season with a small injury.

But he’s a very smart colt by Not A Single Doubt who get good horses, he’s not a big horse but he’s got a big action and he’s flying.

Very good each-way chance.

Next Best

BEWS ($4.80, $1.85), Race 1, 1100m.

Bews is going super, he bolted in first-up, he got beaten by an absolute pimple second-up.

He’s really trained on, I think the straight will suit him, he actually ran in the straight in the Coolmore as a colt.

He’s now an improved gelding, he’s drawn well, Blake Shinn, down in the weights and he’s a very good each-way chance.

He can definitely win, if not run very well.

Tip: Each-Way

KING OF FIGHTERS ($21.00, $5.50), Race 5, 1400m.

A little bit ambitious, he’s still a maiden going into a stakes race at Flemington.

This horse was one of the better gallops on Tuesday morning, put the blinkers on, Craig Newitt rode him in the gallop, of course Oli rides him on Saturday.

He sat on him and he went whoosh.

We’re glad we drew barrier 6, we can smother him up, both races he’s won at the front being chased down, but on Saturday we can be the hunter.

So, we’ll be stalking, get out and go bang, he’ll be a good price and one for your multiples.

No surprises to see him in the top 3, he’s a smart horse.

Tip: Each-Way

Bendigo (Thursday)

COLLEANO ($3.20, $1.50), Race 3, 1300m.

Colleano is probably our best maiden chance of the week.

He ran very good in a very hot maiden behind Sheva, the 4th horse in that race just won at Sandown on Wednesday.

Blinkers go on, second-up, drawn a gate, Damian Lane on, tick, tick, tick.

This is a strong maiden, Freedman’s horse Samurai ($3.70), is good but our horse is going great.

Tip: Each-Way

OUR TURN NOW ($4.00, $1.75), Race 8, 1300m.

1/1, had a spell, come back.

Will improve from the run but is in a moderate race and can win.

Tip: Win

Geelong (Friday)

MISS GALORE ($3.20, $1.50), Race 8, 1221m.

Tip: Win

Morphettville (Saturday)

I’MLOVIN’YA ($9.50, $2.80), Race 9, 1100m.

She’s going well but I tread with caution though, she’s not perfect to train.

She could run well but don’t blame me if it doesn’t win, but she only did one trial and we’ve been very soft on her.

Tip: Win
