Best Bet
Race 7
Hydro Star ($7.50, $2.60)
There’s not a lot of depth to this and I think that bodes well for the resuming Hydro Star ($7.50), who has jumped out well leading in.
I expect he is ready for 1000m first-up and there does look ample speed on paper.
Drop The Verse ($5.50) only rated fairly resuming last start, although from a set up perspective, she’ll get every chance.
Rylov ($3.80) has jumped out ok, but just ok and would need to have improved considerably over the break.
Not yet sold on Beefeaters ($5.50).
Hydro Star is one of the better plays of the day.

Value Bet
Race 4
Brung King ($4.60, 1.90)
There’s a few key chances here, however I do have Brung King ($4.60, 1.90) rated slightly ahead and with that, I’m
comfortable making him the value.
Lead in work has been solid and anything near his debut placing at Geelong sees him very hard to beat.
Well set up, well placed and all things being equal, I expect a result.
